Hey, I'm Iris 👋

Principal Software Engineer at Atlassian · Observability

I build and scale observability platforms that helps Atlassian's engineering teams understand, debug and improve their systems in production. My work spans metrics pipelines, log aggregation, OpenTelemetry semantics and technologies and the developer experience that ties it all together.

What I Do

  • Design and operate large-scale observability infrastructure (tracing, metrics, logging)
  • Build internal platforms and tooling that improve engineering velocity
  • Drive reliability practices across distributed systems
  • Contribute to OpenTelemetry and cloud-native observability standards
