manually remove Nones from the CHANGELOG

Problem

Due to (presumably) an earlier issue with the news/TEMPLATE.rst some news files replaced a bunch of * <news item> to * None (i.e., in 79.rst and 83.rst) which then ended up as ugly Nones in the CHANGELOG.rst

Proposed solution

So a fix is to make a PR that manually removes the Nones from the CHANGELOG.rst, and that may be all as whatever the issue was seems to have been fixed? I can ask one of our folks to do that to save you time @vincefn.

Hi Prof. @sbillinge ! Quick update on issue #102: I opened PR #111 and manually removed the nine malformed None entries from the 2026.1.0 section of CHANGELOG.rst, while preserving all valid release notes and headings. I also added the required no-news file for CI. All local pre-commit hooks, pre-commit CI, and the news check pass. The full tests on PR workflow are currently awaiting maintainer approval. The changes are ready for review whenever convenient. Thank you!
