Backenly

Autonomous backend infrastructure that plans, builds, runs, and keeps itself healthy.

Backenly

Your coding agent builds the backend. Backenly keeps it running.

You describe the backend you need through your coding agent, and Backenly builds it: PostgreSQL, REST APIs, auth, storage, realtime, and functions. Then it keeps that backend healthy on its own, fixing the routine problems automatically and holding the risky ones for your approval, around the clock.

What Backenly is

You describe what you want through the coding agent you already use (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) over MCP. Backenly derives the data model, generates the endpoints, writes the RLS policies, applies the change, and then verifies it against the live runtime. A continuous autonomy loop watches after that, repairing drift, missing indexes, broken triggers, and RLS gaps on its own.

Every change it makes is governed, reversible, and written to an audit trail. The backend runs on standard PostgreSQL, and your data is yours to export at any time.

Open source

The platform runs at backenly.com, and the code is open:

  • backenly  ·  the autonomous backend platform. Apache-2.0.
  • backenly-js  ·  the JavaScript SDK, CLI, and MCP server. MIT.
  • skills  ·  a backend skill that makes Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex build backends correctly.
