I write software and I run the infrastructure it ships on. Most of my background is building things Java services, tooling, mods, client sites but the part I kept gravitating toward was the server it ran on, how it got deployed, and whether I'd find out before anyone else if it fell over.
So these days I work across both: platform and DevOps work with a software engineer's instincts still attached. I know what developers need from a platform because I'm still one of the people asking for it.
Currently open to platform, DevOps and backend roles in the UK or remote.

I run/maintain 3 servers, 20+ containerised services, Prometheus and Grafana for metrics, push alerts on everything. It's where most of what I know about running systems came from.
