Movement scientist and M.Sc. student (Medical & Sports Technologies) working at the intersection of biomechanics, injury prevention and data science in football.
- M.Sc. Medical & Sports Technologies, MCI Innsbruck (2025–present, taught in English) — motion analysis, sensors & wearables, app development, AI & data analysis in sport
- B.Sc. Movement Science, University of Stuttgart (prior studies in Mechanical Engineering)
- Athletic trainer, FC Carl Zeiss Jena youth academy (U13–U20): performance diagnostics, load monitoring, prevention & rehab
- Certified Athletic Trainer & Fitness Trainer (B-License); workshops in periodised training
- Research focus: injury mechanisms in female athletes, especially ACL injuries
injury-forecaster — Interpretable ML injury forecasting on the open SoccerMon dataset, a reproduction of Rossi et al. (2018). End-to-end pipeline: feature engineering, class-imbalance handling (ADASYN), feature selection (RFECV) and an interpretable decision tree — 0.80 recall on the injury class, with limitations documented honestly.
- Football video analysis (YOLO + OpenCV): end-to-end automated match analysis — player & ball tracking, team assignment, running & positional metrics
- Cleat × turf interaction during cutting movements: own study (MCI) on ground contact during match play using IMU sensors + machine learning
- Athlete-monitoring app (Android/Java): combines load monitoring & wellness (Hooper index), injury/pain reporting, Polar integration, training planning and trainer–player communication
- Movement analyses: CMJ on force plates, LESS score, dynamometer reliability (handheld vs. IsoMed 2000 gold standard)

A Master's thesis from February 2027, ideally in professional football — athletics / performance & injury-prevention data analysis.
Football through and through — I love travelling to German, Austrian and international stadiums. Also into strength training / CrossFit and ski touring.
