Localmemcache

Recently I found a cool project to share data cross process in ruby called localmemcache I found it also to be supported via Moneta which is a cool Key Value abstraction. The thing missing so is incr/decr operations to make it really on par with memcache for some usecases, so I want to look into how to extend it in such a way this can be done... shouldn't be to hard right? (TM)

We created a PR on localmemcache to make setup easier via vagrant. We now also know that monetary makes it easy to allow us to support Inc and Dec as we just need to implement the methods as soon as they work in localmemcache.

As part of this PR on Circuitbox yammer/circuitbox#34 I'm going to be working on this again. Anybody want to jump in?

As a information, we can use following Vagrant file to run and develop local memcache.

(master branch)

For example, on your Mac PC.

$ git clone https://github.com/sideshowcoder/localmemcache.git
$ cd localmemcache
$ git branch vagrant-setup
$ vagrant up

And simply to run this module from installed gem package, I created this repository.

Yesterday we wrote some benchmarking trying different backends using moneta, and finished the PR on Circuitbox along the way with some good benchmarking results.
