It would be nice if the release packages to PyPI could be tested upon release or even prior to release through a pre-release mechanism. Currently, it's possible for a release to fail on a specific platform because the NFsim and BioNetGen release bundles are not being tested on specific platforms. So far the main problem is on Windows where DLL's for gcc are required for executables that are dynamically linked. The bundle actions were not able to capture all of these for the distribution and previously distributed ones were being used. Eventually, as compilers are updated, these will become no longer compatible so it's a bad idea to use them.
